JOY  Quilts are explorations in joy, material, childhood, and abstraction on traditional quilting methods created in collaboration with artist and writer, Nicole Leth. These quilts feature playful applique shapes constructed from non-traditional textiles such as vinyl, sherpa, foil, and spandex.

We created these quilts in the heart of the 2020 Pandemic as a way to find freedom and radical healing through play. We then drove these quilts across the country and photographed them in spaces that felt beautiful.
